5pm est, 2pm SLT is the bussiest I've seen this place ever, in terms of people being here. There appears to be about 16 people in the main area, 20 people on the island and 9 people grouped together, Tepic Harlequin among them.
Several are flipping pancakes?
There are a few Babbage Urchins, 2 Evil Geniuses, a New Babbage Engineer, and Antiquity Lord and 2 ungrouped people in the collection.
they are just chilling in the street. One wears many bags and packs on his back, saying something about "Homeless"
why does it always run so slowly? it freezes itself along with my web browser. i hear the tink. seconds later i see i have once again been logged out of second life.
i need 400 or 500 lindens to buy a deadpool avatar.
I log back in. They are gone. I see a much larger mass of people by a pier. I go towards them. It has only been about 5 minutes. I have been kicked off AGAIN.
They do have a pretty impressive thing going on underneath the water though.
It is 5:27 and I try to log in again. I may not until at least 5:31:18, according to the login screen.
Pancake race?? There seems to be this even going on.
There are many gathered around a finish line. They too talk about lag. A few say hi to me. One yells ITHACA!
Actually, it was a starting line. off they go! after some trouble starting (someone was not in hearing distance to yell go.
It's not a long track, as its a pancake race, i believe they had to keep flipping pancakes in their pans while running.
Theres about 2 dozen people here, not all competing, but most.

I can not see anyone. It is 1:30am EST on a weekday.
They cough. and again.

They begin to sing again.
I finally saw a train car moving. It hit me.
It became night time.
I saw one other person from a distance, he moved down the street before he could render properly.
The city seems much more alive today than in the past, even though there is still no one here. That i can see.
I found giant submarines! similar to nuclear ones, probably steam powered though...
Mace of Olaf-Class Supergunboat. Command is restricted.
When I move a few hundred feet over to the subs, the woman's voice fades away. When I go back towards the train tracks, it returns. I go to the end of the stop, the voice stops, move back and it's back. It's a small area, but I am closing in.
Man does this virtual world run slow.
She seems to be upset with the music she sings to.
I can't even turn without lagging my ass off.
This computer is too good for Second Life to operate like this.......
Ah a classic, flying into an area while not really controlling what you're doing, only to have the area finally load, and you're trapped in an attic.
I can hear bursts of steam.
I found her! Canolli Capalini i believe is the name. Er no. but maybe the mermaid next to the organ. Someone hear pictures being taken, so i left.

Cookie Monster - Rucker McKinney they are the ones talking. In a cylinder by the organ with the mermaid. AH they leave the room. I follow with the camera. I am across the street in another building. They are quite random. More talk of meercats. You know, that thing that hung out with the pig in Timon and Pumba. she hates spiders.
Second Life logged me out of the world. That was rather rude of it. What gives.

By it is a store/dance room.
They have expensive shirtless?

There is an opera house, free to use and explore with streaming opera music
Stone staircases.
They sell pirate clothing.
You can explore much of the area while underground.

New Babbage
It is a Steampunk themed island.
Very small, but the areas around are of similar in name. (It is like downtown, or village and what not.)
There's a few vehicles, none of which I can use. - A boat, a submarine, an airboat/blimp I can't even reach.
There is a piece of train track.
The place is pretty well organized in terms of layout.
Parallel and perpendicular roads.
There's factories. -- much industry.
Smelting, conveyor belt.
I saw one person once in a deep red dress walking along a path. She walked into a carriage/trailer type thing.
There is snow on the ground at the moment and pieces of ice floating in the water.
